When the UFC light heavyweight champion learned of Ashly McGarity, a young girl courageously battling cervical cancer, he didn't just send his well-wishes. He flew her out to the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California to be by his side at UFC 311.

For Prochazka, it was personal. Before the fight, he shaved his head as an act of empathy: I see you. I'm with you.

Procházka donated $50,000 toward Ashly's treatment. UFC CEO Dana White matched the donation, bringing the total to $100,000. As of late 2025,
