General Body Meetings
General Body Meetings will happen in the Chamber in Hughes-Trigg Student Center on the first Friday of the month for the 2025-26 SMU school year. Come to learn more about our club, get insider info and tips, compete in challenges for prizes, and participate in professional workshops.
Fall 2025
September
9/5: Our first general body meeting is a casual, "get-to-know-us" event. We will give a breakdown of our leadership team, what we do, and our planned events for the semester. Compete in Sports Trivia (Winner gets a prize!) and stick around to get to know the executive team!
October
10/3: On Family Weekend, everyone is welcome to our GBM! Bring your parents and siblings as we talk about everything happening in October, take a look at our first edition of the SBS Journal newsletter, and compete in a challenge (Winner gets a prize!).
November
11/7: At the November GBM, get ready for our Fall signature event and our November speaker panel, compete in a challenge (Winner gets a prize!), and learn how to apply for upcoming leadership roles. After the meeting, participate in a Resume workshop led by by our executive team!
December
12/5: De-stress from finals with an SBS Holiday Celebration. Meet the new Exec and Board, hear about what's coming in the spring semester, and compete in a challenge (Winner gets a prize!). This will be the final SBS event before Winter Break, so don't miss it!
